Susan Kassing

Broward Community Board Member

Susan Kassing is a devoted Christian, a loving mother and wife, and an enthusiastic servant to her community. After graduating from Indiana University, a career in travel and sales and raising 3 wonderful children (Ryan, Lauren and Peter), she further dedicated herself to connecting with and helping others.

She is currently a member of Zion Lutheran Church and has served on the school board, is a Lifework Leadership coach with a focus on leading by Godly principles, and was part of the leadership team at BSF. Susan also regularly participates in the Share A Pet program with her dog “Bow” working with autistic children and is a team member for the Junior Achievement Fellows Company Program, a volunteer at Taylor’s Closet, and a long time contributing member of the Executives Association of Fort Lauderdale. She continues to raise awareness for Multiple Sclerosis by riding in the MS Bike Race every year.

With the little time left over she enjoys biking, kayaking, skiing, spending time at her home in Colorado with her husband John, being among the company of her family and friends and, most recently, finishing with a personal best time in a Sprint Triathlon.
