Eric Branson

First Vice President - Wealth Management Senior Portfolio Manager at UBS St Petersburg

Eric Branson began his career in the U.S. Army as a combat engineer in Germany. His unit was called upon as a forward rapid deployment force to provide safe passage to the battlefield for our troops. He was honorably discharged as a Private First Class in July 1991. Eric entered St. Pete College upon his return to study Business Administration and graduated in 1995. Eric studied for and earned his Series 7 license in 1996 and entered the Financial Services Industry. Eric chose UBS to grow his practice based on their broad open architecture platform for clients. As the needs of clients have changed over the years Eric has put his emphasis on developing out a wealth management practice focused on navigating his clients through the transitions of life. His goal from the time he meets a client candidate for a private briefing is to fully understand the individuals needs as it pertains to the transitions that lie ahead of them. Only after working through his process is he confident directing an action plan to move forward. Eric is an active member of the Tampa Bay area community currently volunteering as a Children’s Supervisor with Bible Study Fellowship, active member of First Baptist Church St. Petersburg, past chair of the Suncoast Center for Community Mental Health, past chair of PARC, past president of the All Children’s Hospital Foundation Development Council.
