Shannon Thomson
Shannon Thomson is passionate about walking alongside individuals and families as they pursue generosity with purpose and intentionality. She especially enjoys learning the stories, causes, and passions that God has placed on the hearts of Givers and helping them support the ministries and organizations they care about most.
With a heart for service and a natural love for problem solving, Shannon enjoys helping Givers navigate their giving journey with clarity and confidence. She loves finding thoughtful solutions, anticipating needs, and creating experiences that help Givers feel known, valued, and supported. Her personal passion for serving others is a natural fit for her professional role supporting Givers as they steward their resources in ways that reflect their values, faith, and passions.
Before joining NCF Wisconsin, Shannon spent much of her career serving in customer-facing and leadership support roles. She earned her Professional Diploma in Customer Experience through The CX Academy, further strengthening her commitment to delivering meaningful, relationship-centered experiences.
Shannon’s heart for service began years ago after witnessing volunteers care for a family member during a difficult season. That experience sparked a desire to serve others and led her to spend more than a decade leading a volunteer outreach team that connected her church community with service opportunities at the Milwaukee Rescue Mission.
Shannon and her husband, Thom, live in Germantown, where they lead small group Bible studies through their local church. In her free time, she enjoys acrylic painting and is especially inspired by flowers and landscapes. She also enjoys the creative community she has found through the Art Guild of Menomonee Falls, reading cozy mystery novels, and exploring the outdoors with their sweet dog, Rocky, whose favorite pastime is enthusiastically investigating the world through his sense of smell.
