CEO to CEO: The generation that could finish The Great Commission

In 2005, on the heels of the success of The Jesus Film, an alliance of believers, churches, and organizations came together to finish the task of getting the gospel to the ends of the earth. The movement lacked only one thing – the funding to get the job done. That’s where Doug Cobb and The Finishing Fund he founded came in.

At the time, Doug was volunteering with this movement. He and his wife, Gina, were passionate about reaching the ends of the earth, but they knew this task was too big for them to accomplish alone. So, they gathered a group of like-minded friends, and, harnessing Doug’s work experience, created a venture capital fund for The Great Commission, The Finishing Fund.

Over the last 10 years, Doug and his co-investors have honed their skill for finding just the right partners to support. And they’re witnessing an explosion in the spread of the gospel to the ends of the earth.

Watch as NCF’s Kendra VanderMeulen talks with Doug about what it will take for every person to hear the gospel and which generation may be the one to see it happen.
