Have you ever looked back on your life and considered how it could have gone in a very different direction?
Recently, we had the opportunity to sit down with our co-founder, Terry Parker, to ponder the pivotal moments in his journey toward creating the National Christian Foundation (NCF) almost four decades ago.
Terry’s reflections were full of wisdom and humor and gave us a rare glimpse into the constant guidance that God has provided for NCF every step of the way. We’d like to share these moments with you in a special video series over the next few months. We think you’ll enjoy them, and you’ll be able to get a sense of the rich heritage that you are part of today at NCF.
In this first video, you’ll hear Terry talking about how he received an invitation in the 1980s from the White House to accept a position as judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals, which is only one step removed from the Supreme Court.
This led to a spiritual battle in which his life – and the fate of NCF – could have ended up very different.
