We’re open for generosity

Amid the new realities of the workplace during the COVID-19 pandemic, where video conferencing and makeshift home offices are suddenly the norm, our 30 local teams across the country and national-office staff are here to say … We’re open for business, and we’re open for generosity.

More than 25,000 families look to NCF to help them make the most of their charitable giving, and tens of thousands of charities look to us for critical funding to support their work.

And that’s what makes this such an important moment in our history. We – the interconnected family of generous givers and Christ-centered ministries – were made for such a time as this.

Together, we have the unique opportunity to bring hope and healing to a world in desperate need, and we can start today by mobilizing the resources in our hands.

We – the interconnected family of generous givers and Christ-centered ministries – were made for such a time as this.

If you have a Giving Fund (donor-advised fund) at NCF already, here are three immediate ways you can make a difference. If you don’t have a fund yet, open one today in minutes.

  1. Mobilize your fund balance today: Log in to your fund to recommend grants to your local church or other ministries who are actively working to serve those in need. Here’s a list of charities that are actively responding to the outbreak, and please let our team know of any others that you suggest we add to the list.
  2. Give online: Sometimes, givers send us physical checks via U.S. Mail, but at a time like this, the fastest, most reliable way to make new contributions to your fund is to give online via credit card, debit card, EFT (electronic funds transfer), or wire transfer in order to avoid delays associated with local quarantines. Log in now to give electronically.
  3. Tell a charity to apply for eGrants from NCF: If your church or favorite ministry is still receiving money from NCF through traditional mail, encourage them to enroll in eGrants with us, a convenient and faster way to receive grants electronically. To get started, just have them contact us, and a member from our Grants Team will begin the onboarding process.

Please know that the NCF family is here to serve yours during this unique time. Don’t hesitate to reach out to your local NCF team, and together, may we be the hands and feet of Christ to those in need here at home and around the world.
