Steve Hayes: No margin, no mission

Steve Hayes had a goal: to become the head of Human Resources for a Fortune 100 company. And he pursued that dream hard, taking his family with him.

“In 14 years, we moved nine times as I climbed this ladder, and I was addicted to the money.”

So he started his own company to allow him to make his family a higher priority. And for nine years, the company grew. And so did the mission work the company was doing.

But, after hearing some honest feedback from his team, Steve realized he was doing the same thing with his company mission as he had done in his company–ladder–climbing days.

Watch the video to learn about the wake-up call Steve got that reminded him it was time to build margin again.
